Why We Volunteer
I love volunteering my time with Boys & Girls Club of McGehee because I love to help and it's always fun. I like getting to see the kids get excited about event's and enjoy fellowship with the club staff. The bonus for me is getting some fun time in with my own kids as I help.
The reason I enjoy volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club is being able to build a relationship not only with the staff but the children as well. I enjoy learning about each of them personally and seeing how the kids react with such positivity and treat me as if I've known them forever. The kids have great attitudes and are very respectful.
